Joe Hisaishi is a living legend. His soundtracks for the prize-winning films of Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki set the hearts of generations around the world racing. With over 100 scores and countless awards, he has written film music history and, at the same time, secured a firm place in the contemporary music world as a composer, conductor and pianist with his symphonic works.

In Autumn 2026, Joe Hisaishi finally returns to Europe. Lucky for us, his World Dream Tour with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will take him to selected cities in Germany and Switzerland! As a conductor and soloist on the piano, the Japanese grand seigneur brings his new suite of the Oscar-winning Studio Ghibli film „The Boy and the Heron“, as well as the European premiere of his newly-composed Concerto for Orchestra.

Joe Hisaishi ist eine lebende Legende. Seine Soundtracks für die preisgekrönten Filme von Studio Ghibli und dessen kreativem Kopf Hayao Miyazaki lassen die Herzen von Millionen Menschen auf der ganzen Welt höherschlagen. Mit über 100 Scores und zahlreichen Auszeichnungen hat er Filmmusikgeschichte geschrieben und sich gleichzeitig als Komponist, Dirigent und Pianist mit seinen Symphonien und Klavierwerken in der zeitgenössischen Musikwelt einen festen Platz erobert.

Im Herbst 2026 kehrt Joe Hisaishi endlich nach Europa zurück. Ein Glück für uns, dass ihn seine World Dream Tour mit dem Royal Philharmonic Orchestra auch in ausgesuchte Städte in Deutschland und der Schweiz führt! Als Dirigent und Solist am Klavier präsentiert der japanische Grandseigneur seine neue Suite zum Oscar-prämierten Studio-Ghibli-Film „The Boy and the Heron“ (Der Junge und der Reiher) sowie die Europapremiere seines frisch komponierten Konzerts für Orchester.
